During this week's lecture, Sir Fauzi took us through his website to show us what is Digital Photography and Image Processing. He introduced us to the topic and also reviewed his personal portfolio, the professional background of past students and what is expected of us in the module. He also informed us more about the module, passed the module briefing, and told us what we had to do and what we would evaluate what we did.
On tutorial and practical session, Sir Fauzi introduced us to using Google Drive for file management. He also demonstrated Google Classroom, a platform similar to Microsoft Teams for sharing materials and assignments with students. Having used Google Drive and Google Classroom extensively during high school, I was already familiar with them. We also create an e-portofolio to put our assignment and progresses. As a hands-on task, Mr. Fauzi assigned us our first project: to create an e-portfolio and select three pieces of artwork from Pinterest that piqued our interest. These are my top 3 favorite graphic design.

Blue twilight. Skyscrapers.Painted by Aleksandr Bolotov. A feeling of peace and seclusion in the middle of a busy city is conveyed in this artwork. A mood of calm reflection is created by the city's vivid lights and reflections from the rain. The image of the lone individual strolling alone captures a moment of tranquility amid the bustle of city life and implies themes of introspection or quiet seclusion. It gives the impression that the viewer is seeing a silent, introspective journey while also evoking a dreamlike serenity and a hint of emotional depth. This picture's realistic, nuanced portrayal of a nighttime cityscape creates a calm, atmospheric feeling. The design creates a dreamy atmosphere with a vivid color scheme of pink, purple, and blue.

This artwork captivates with its simple yet expressive style. The use of watercolor, featuring gentle shades of gray and black, establishes a calm and serene ambiance, while the vivid red leaves stand out, emphasizing the tree as the centerpiece. The stark branches and nearby rocks contribute to a sense of quiet, natural beauty, inspiring feelings of peace and reflection. The minimalist design and restricted color palette create a refined and tranquil representation of nature.
I love one-line art because of its simplicity and elegance. It amazes me how a single, unbroken line can capture an entire image, often with so much expression and creativity. The fluidity of the line gives a sense of movement, and the minimalism really draws my attention to the form and essence of the subject. It’s such a unique way to convey beauty in the simplest way possible.
