Process:

When this task has been assign to us, I started to search for inspiration on pinterest. I started by imagining the scene, wanting to capture NoirBlanc's dual nature in the background. I found these pictures and started to envision it. I wanted to make the concept of Heaven and Hell. 

I envisioned a staircase in the center, a symbolic journey between darkness and light, with NoirBlanc at the top, embodying balance. In my mind, the lower half of the background was dark and intense, filled with flames, shadows, and a city silhouette hidden in smoke—something that felt powerful and almost ominous. The upper half, though, was a stark contrast. I pictured a clear blue sky with soft clouds, a scene of purity and calmness, almost like a sanctuary above the chaos below. After I got the inspiration, I started to do sketches. 

I got two ideas so I asked the teacher for some advise. After that, I then choose the first concept. I began making the background on Adobe Illustrator, carefully dividing the scene so each side felt distinct but connected. I wanted deep reds, blacks, and greys for the dark side, colors that would give an intense, fiery atmosphere. For the light side, I chose soft blues and whites, adding a faint glow around NoirBlanc to emphasize its protective aura. As I refined the scene, I added dramatic lighting to highlight NoirBlanc, making it the focal point and bringing out its balanced aura. This is the final result.

We have to make it into a Pokemon card with the description and it's ability.

Description:
NoirBlanc represents the perfect balance between light and darkness. Its dual nature allows it to adapt to any battle situation, blending offensive power with protective skills. It is a rare Pokemon revered for maintaining balance in its environment, embodying both the fierce power of Noir and the gentle protection of Blanc.

Reflection:

Looking back on this project, I was satisfied with how I brought the world of NoirBlanc to reality, despite facing some challenges. My aim was to design a backdrop that visually embodies the harmony between light and darkness, reflecting both the intense energy and tranquil serenity that characterize NoirBlanc. I began with the idea of a central staircase to symbolize a journey or ascent, connecting the opposing environments. While the concept was compelling in theory, turning it into a unified visual creation demanded careful consideration and patience.

I was particularly concerned about achieving a balance between the two contrasting halves. I feared that the vibrant dark zone could overpower the calm light side, or that the light side might appear too simple in comparison to the dynamic flames below. Finding equilibrium required significant adjustments, particularly in terms of color and lighting. I needed to ensure that NoirBlanc remained the main focus, highlighting its essence as a cohesive element.

In reviewing the final piece, I believe it effectively embodies the spirit of NoirBlanc. The floating embers and light sparkles enhance each side, subtly highlighting the theme of duality. However, I ponder whether incorporating additional details or textures could have enriched the scene and made it more immersive. Overall, I am pleased with the outcome, as it truly represents NoirBlanc’s essence, which is being that symbolizes the balance between darkness and light.
